My name is Jasmine! I’m a small town Ontario girl, and Certified Holistic Nutritionist. When I’m not making green juice and smoothies, you can usually find me in amongst my massive essential oils collection, always learning something new! I am obsessed with: matcha green tea, the cottage, our black lab Otter, and lavender essential oil.
Since a very young age, I have taken a keen interest in the health of our natural environment. I completed my BSc in Natural Science at Lakehead University in the spring of 2015, with a strong focus on wildlife biology and evolution. More recently I have realized how our health is intrinsically related to the health our ecosystems. I intend to encourage others to take responsibility for their own wellbeing through holistic health and nutrition. I believe that eating a plant based, organic diet of unprocessed whole foods will change the way that we interact with our natural resources, and result in a widespread epidemic health for anyone who is willing to take on the challenge.
I started this blog late in 2015, when I began my studies in Holistic Nutrition with Alive Academy. My goal was to share what I learned along the way, and use this website to reach out to others with similar interests. Since then I have connected with hundreds of people from around the world, and I am so grateful for everyone who has supported me on this journey.
I chose the name Wild Green Life because in the summer months, my family lives on an island in the Kawartha Lakes that we like to refer to as Wildcat Island. It’s wild, its green all over (and off the grid!), and definitely embodies the sort of holistic lifestyle that I strive to achieve.
